Dear Future Self,
Deal grace upon grace upon grace on everyone, even from our brokenness, ignorance, pain, hurt, joy, suffering, despair, frustration, annoyance. GRACE. To lavish it upon everyone, until we forget who we are.
When I say “everyone,” I mean everyone.
Yes, that guy who thinks that calvinists shouldn’t be called Christians, too. Especially those people who think Lady Gaga is Satan incarnate and shouldn’t be allowed in any country. Love them.
Remember what our God can do: He redeems. He’s a redeemer.
He may be holy, but He sure is loving as well.
So be loving.
Deal grace out like it’s unlimited. (It is.)
Forgive instantly, even without being asked. Forgive without validation.
Love without limits, without conditions. Even those who cheated on us, who lied to us, who hurt us.
